Kansas MileSplit's All-State Cross Country teams for 2019
represent many of the top Kansas runners, some of whom won state titles, some
who placed very high at the state meets, and some who had the top times in the
state.
Many others we named to this year's teams were selected just
based on their toughness - that's what cross country is about, after all. And
some had positive momentum at the end of the season, while others were selected
based on their entire body of work - meaning, they had a very good 2019 season but maybe didn't finish it off at state as they would have hoped.
All of these runners symbolize what is great about cross
country - hard work, pride and solid character.
