Thanks Seniors: Kansas' Athletes Gave Us Many Great Moments in 2016-17

Power and Grace

Taylor Muff of Pittsburg was the measure of power as she cruised to her third state championships in the class 5A girls 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles (she was second in both of those events in 2015).

Muff's high school career record in the 100 hurdles is 28-4, and she is 27-2 in the 300 hurdles. She also has won state medals in the discus and shot put.

Sumner Academy's Demitra Carter wrapped up a pretty impressive career, as well. She won the class 4A 200 meters and the 300 hurdles in 2016, and has seven state medals (including the 100 meters and 100 hurdles) to her credit.
