Kansas Outdoor Breakthrough Performances: Week of April 20

Kansas high school track and field athletes posted several personal records during competition the week of April 20.

Jaeden Frierson (Wichita South) ran 15.67 in the 110-meter hurdles at the Campus High School Invitational on April 24, dropping from his previous personal record of 17.21 set in April. The time places him #66 in Kansas and #32 among seniors in the state.

Austin Swonger (Kiowa-South Barber) clocked 14.84 in the 110-meter hurdles at Border Queen on April 21, improving from 16.30. The time ranks #24 in Kansas and #5 among juniors while establishing a new school record.
