Shout out to Olathe West's Cade Zimmerman for winning last week's poll! Zimmerman had the state-leading javelin throw of the week with his 196-6 mark at the Mike Wallace Olathe Invitational. This is tops in the entire state for the season and 13th overall in the country. He will be included in the end-of-season Athlete of the Year poll.

Dylan Plath - Olathe South - Plath, the returning 6A State Champion in the 800, turned in the fastest half-mile mark for a Kansan this week with his 1:54.01 season best for 4th at the Kansas Relays.
Max Larson - Shawnee Mission South - Larson dropped the hammer in the 1600 at the Kansas Relays, running a KS No. 1 time of 4:09.98 and finishing second overall. His time is also US No. 41.
Elliott Williams - Dodge City - Williams picked up a victory at the GBHS Jack Bowman Invitational in the 300 meter hurdles, running 38.76. It was the top time in Kansas last week. He also ran a personal best 14.60 for second in the 110 meter hurdles.
Eli Johnson - Beloit - Johnson had a strong showing at the Kansas Relays, posting the top marks in Kansas this week in the shot put and discus. He threw 57-6.25 for fifth overall in the former and 187-0 for second in the latter, nearly snagging the victory.
Kasen Parsons - Osage City - Parsons became the first Kansan this season to throw over 200 feet in the javelin with his massive 203-3.5, US No. 9 mark at the Royal Valley April Invitational on Tuesday.
