Championship season is almost upon us! The Middle School State Championship has been slated for Sunday, October 27, with Kansas Milesplit returning as the title sponsor. The meet will be held at Jones Park in Emporia, KS and is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade athletes in Kansas. Starting this year the 7th grade race has expanded to 6th/7th grade, as 6th graders are now eligible to compete. Open youth races for ages 6-14 are also available.
Teaming up is encouraged, and athletes from multiple schools can be on the same team. Scores will be calculated within each grade level.
Awards will be handed out at the finish line to the top 20 finishers in each race.
