What Is This?
Over the next few weeks, Milesplit Kansas will be rolling out brackets broken down by discipline. Fans can vote for who they think is the top athlete in each discipline. In the end, we will be crowning the top track and field athlete in the state of Kansas as selected by the fans. This poll is for the best girls hurdler of the past decade.
The Setup
We've selected 16 girls based on combined hurdle times (100h, 300h), ranked them 1-16, placed them in a bracket of head-to-head matchups where your poll votes on the next page will determine who advances.
Parameters
Athletes included are from the period between 2011 and 2020. This is based solely on hurdling times. Hurdlers were selected based on top 100h/300h rankings within the decade, Their times had to have ranked them in the top 100 for each event. The final cut to 16 was based solely on their combined rankings.
How This Works
Athletes are seeded 1 through 16 based on times and ranking. After each round, the hurdler with the most votes in their matchup will advance to the next round. Voting will end at 2 p.m. CT for each round. You may vote on Ks.MileSplit.com. Be sure to spread the word to advance your favorites into the next round!

Class: 2015
The only 2A hurdler in the bracket, Sarah was a 3X state champion in the 100h, and won a state title in the 300h. She was a 5X state hurdle qualifier and is the Class 2A state record holder. Hines went on to compete at Emporia State and Wichita State.

Year: 2020
Kunkler was a 3X state qualifier in the 100h and as well as a state qualifier in the 300s. She also won several other state medals in events outside the hurdles. Her senior year was canceled, ending her title hopes.
