Sam had the unfortunate luck of not getting to become the first 4X state Javelin champion losing his senior year to covid19. Sam's list of accomplishments is still long winning the javelin 3X and medaling twice at the NBNO. Sam had a pr of 224'6" and also threw the disc 142'. Sam will continue his throwing career at Texas A&M.
