Track and Field championships.
That is not a statement about the quality of teams in
class 3A boys, but rather a strong testimony to the juggernaut that is the
Scott Community boys track and field team.

Marshall Faurot home this weekend and probably still win the state title by 20
points.
But indeed, they will not be leaving him home. In fact,
Faurot probably figures he's got a few scores to settle at this meet.
You see, Faurot has 10 state meet medals in three years -
three as a freshman, three as a sophomore, and four last year. Five of those
medals are for second place; none of them are gold.
