Parking: Buses should drop off teams at Shelter #1 and then park of
S 59th & Pierson Park Road (More information about parking the busses will follow)
Race Times and Distances:
JV Girls - 4:00 PM5K
JV Boys - 4:30 PM5K
Varsity Girls - 5:00 PM5K
Varsity Boys - 5:30 PM 5K
**Races may be combined if the numbers of entries in each individual race is low.
***We will be honoring our senior Cross-Country Athletes. If you are going to honor your seniors please be available to introduce them and if you have anything for them at this time please be prepared to hand it out.
Conference Champion determined by team results at the Meadowlark Conference Meet. If there is a tie for 1st place between teams there will be co-champions.
Each school may run seen runners in the meet. Five runners will be scored and other runners will be used for tie breaking purposes, if each team has more than five runners participating.
Scoring will be 10 places. Medals will also be for top 10 places. Conference Champion medal recipients will represent the All Conference Championship Team.
There will be male and female Runner of the Year Boys and Girls determined by the runner finishing 1st place at the Meadowlark Conference.
There will be a Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year determined by a vote of the coaches at the Meadowlark Conference Meet. If there is a tie voting for Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year there will be a Boys Cross Country Co-Coach of the Year. A Ballot will be in your packet, please fill out and send back to shelter in envelope supplied.
There will be a Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year determined by a vote of the coaches at the Meadowlark Conference Meet. If there is a tie voting for Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year there will be a Girls Cross Country Co-Coach of the Year. A Ballot will be in your packet, please filll out and send back to shelter in envelope supplied.
All League Selections take place at the Meadowlark Conference.
Race Route will me emailed and in your Meet packet. This map will also tell the bus drivers were to park.
