Thursday marked the beginning of the 2012 schedule for the Lansing cross country teams, and the girls’ squad started the season right.
The Lady Lions had three runners finish in the top four, five in the top ten, to beat out host Tonganoxie and Kansas City Christian. The Lansing boys came in second, barely losing to Tonganoxie, but beat KCC.
