Kronos Distance, a new post-season event for middle- and high-school distance runners, is set for Saturday, June 7 at Trinity Academy Track (12345 E. 21st St N., Wichita, KS). Designed to fill the gap in competitive opportunities after the high-school season, the evening will include:

Championship heats featuring the region's top distance athletes

Open 800 m and 5000 m races for runners of all ages and abilities

Wavelight pacing technology, flown in from the Netherlands, with four distinct pacing lights per race

On-track entertainment: a live DJ/emcee, music and a fireworks finale

Support from Garmin, BOA and other community partners
