Shout out to last week's winner: Olathe North's Avani Hocker-Singh! Hocker-Singh picked up a big personal best in 300 meter hurdles at the Mike Wallace Olathe Invitational. Her time of 43.87 is the only performance in the state so far under 45 seconds and has the 2024 6A runner-up in the driver's seat already. She will be included in our end-of-season Athlete of the Year poll.

Harli Omli - Manhattan - Omli did not get in on the excitement in Lawrence, opting to stay in the Little Apple for her home meet Friday. She won the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes and her 11.92 mark in the 100 was the top mark for a Kansan this past week.
Keely Hoback - Burlington - Hoback continued her 3A title defense season with a 6th place finish at the Kansas Relays in the 100m Hurdles. She ran 14.50 (+1.8), the top time among Kansans this week.
Kaylie Shultz - Salina Central - The sophomore posted a personal best 4:56.51 in the 1600 at the Kansas Relays, finishing fifth. It was her second time under 5:00 in her career. She also ran 10:43.67 in the 3200, third among Kansans this week.
Rylee Meyer - Andale - Meyer had a busy day at the GBHS Jack Bowman Invitational, picking up victories in the 100, 200, and long jump, as well as a third place finish in the 300 hurdles. The former three events were personal bests of 12.10, 25.92, and 18-5.5.
Paige Stanfield - Shawnee Mission East - Paige Stanfield has burst onto the scene with three javelin marks over 120 feet in her first season in Kansas. She upped the ante on Friday, chucking the javelin 141-6 at the Kansas Relays and finishing second.
