One of the best ways to level up your running over the summer is to attend a summer camp. Many will supply state-of-the-art training knowledge, unique running experiences, and create opportunities to build new friendships.
For the last several years, track & cross country camps across the country have seen a decline in numbers, both in the volume of camps available and the number of runners attending. This may be partially due to the wider reach of training knowledge on social media, but another contributing factor is getting the right camp and right runner connected. Many willing athletes fall through the cracks because they simply do not know the perfect camp exists!
That is the objective of RunningCamps.org, a free site for camps & runners to find the perfect fit. Originally started in 2010, the site once provided information on over 500 track & cross country camps nationwide. After a successful run, the site fell out of operation in 2018. This year, under new developers, the site has been revived to bring camps and runners together once again.

The site is free to use and allows camps to submit their information to a database, creating a unique information page which also links back to the camp's own website & registration. Athletes can then find the camp through a search engine, with the ability to filter by state.
So far, this summer's list has camps from 14 states and 1 international camp, with camp directors submitting more information every week. It is the only place designed for athletes and camps to find the perfect fit for the perfect summer running experience!
