Championship season is almost upon us! The Junior High State Championship has been slated for October 24, with Kansas Milesplit returning as the title sponsor. The meet will be held at Jones Park in Emporia, KS and is open to all 7th and 8th grade athletes in Kansas. Open youth races for ages 6-14 are also available.
Teaming up is encouraged, and athletes from multiple schools can be on the same team. Scores will be calculated within each grade level.
Awards will be handed out at the finish line to the top 20 finishers in each race.
Entry fees are $15 per athlete, and registration can be done by emailing meet director David Ramsey at runfasterinhs@yahoo.com. Entries are due by Friday, October 22nd at 8:00PM.
