Milesplit's database is the king of numbers. You can analyze our statistics all day long if you want. Sometimes, though, numbers don't tell the whole story. The database simply can't account for transfer athletes, coaching changes, or incoming freshman. Duplicate athletes and short courses, while fixable, can throw the stats off as well. Sometimes, you just need the human factor.
That's where our subjective rankings come in.
Our Top-10 lists take into account all of those quirks and more. As a team sport, you deserve to know how the best teams stack up. This week and throughout the season, we'll be keeping you updated with our subjective team rankings for each KSHSAA division.
