It is that time of the year again! Cross country is back in full swing for athletes and teams around the whole entire state of Kansas; meaning crazy fast times, sweet victories, and thrilling state championships are right around the corner for dedicated athletes and dedicated teams across the state.
Among the many big meets to come, the second annual Kansas Milesplit Junior High State Championship will take place on October 21st, at Jones Park in Emporia. All 7th/8th graders across the state of Kansas will be eligible to compete in the races. The meet will feature a race for each division of 7th grade and 8th grade boys/girls, as well as open races for athletes born 2004 - 2012 after the main races.
Registration for the meet will begin on the first of October and run through October 17th. Registration for the Junior High State Championship will go through the Kansas Milesplit website meet registration system. The races will begin Sunday, October 21 afternoon at 1 PM.
