Win a trip to the Downtown Lawrence Men's Olympic Shot Put and Kansas Relays
Lawrence, KS: VIP passes to the Downtown Lawrence Men's Olympic Shot Put and a two-night stay at Springhill Suites are up for grabs for during the weekend of The Kansas Relays, April 22-23.
eXplore Lawrence and Downtown Lawrence, Inc. have partnered with Springhill Suites Marriott to sponsor the "Lawrence Olympic Getaway Contest." Prizes for the winner of the "Lawrence Olympic Getaway" include meeting the Olympians, accommodations for Friday April 22nd and Saturday April 23rd courtesy of Springhill Suites Marriott, VIP seating during the Olympic Shot Put competition, passes to the Kansas Relays, a Downtown Lawrence gift card, and a prize pack donated from Downtown Lawrence, Inc. member businesses. Six of the top 10-ranked throwers in the world will be part of the Downtown Lawrence Olympic Shot Put, making the 2016 shot put the strongest field ever. Jamaican O'Dayne Richards (3), Reese Hoffa (5), Jordan Clarke (6), Ryan Whiting (7), Christian Cantwell (8) and Canadian Tim Nedow (9) will be in Lawrence for what has become the athletes' favorite U.S. event. The competition will be held in conjunction with the 89th Kansas Relays.
