Dominated the 5A scene with a record-low 22 points and swept top 4 spots; top 5 averaged 16:12

Surprised everyone (well, me at least) and won a very interesting and close 6A team race, by being the only 6A team to put 3 in the medals (8-9-11) AND one in the top-30 (26th)

Had a decent pack behind Skinner in 4th and three more in the top 30 - but not enough to overcome Olathe North (12 points behind)

Was close to Olathe North (and ahead of Olathe East) through three runners, by going 12-13-15, but #4 and #5 were a bit too far back and they placed 10 points behind Olathe East

Had four in the top 26 and two in the top ten to outscore Bishop Carroll for 5A runner-up; only 5A team besides Aquinas with top 5 average of under 17:00 (16:54)

Missed out on a third-consecutive podium finish by only six points; however, had two medalists (2-19) as well as another top 25 to propel them up near the top

Not the best day for SMN at the State meet, though the Akalus' 1st and 7th place finishes kept them close; ended five points behind Manhattan, and they still improved upon their 2014 finish by 4 spots

Closed out the top half of the 6A field and was "only" 39 points behind O. North (the champ) and 17 behind the last podium spot

Like BVSW, had 4 in the top 26 of the 5A meet, but their top two were well behind BVSW's and they had to settle for 3rd

Yet another 5A team with 4 in the top 30; they also had an impressive 27-second 1-5 spread, but top runner was only 18th

Had their best race of the year to propel them back to near where they were ranked pre-season. Had four top 30 and beat both BC and MV through 4, but #5 was too far back

Finished well behind the front six but did have two medalists in Wiederholt and Donahue (10-17)

Took the 4A race rather easily with 5 in the top 30 and a 38 second 1-5 spread and 17:05 1-5 average

Not quite strong enough to take a podium or top-5 finish; but did have two medalists (12th/16th)

Snagged two medals (6 and 20) and another top-30 for a solid top three

Had one of their best races of the year and was able to end in the rankings; had two medalists (5 and 18)

Not the best day by Dodge City, and it is tough when a number of other teams have a good day; still had a 17:23 1-5 avg and 49 second spread, just too far back to have an effect in the 6A race

After nearly defeating Baldwin at regionals, followed it up with a solid runner-up finish at the 4A meet, though they only had two medalists (9th and 11th)

Solid race after getting defeated by Leavenworth at regionals; had an 11th-place medalist

Did probably about what they could with all of the other top 6A teams present; top 5 averaged 17:29 and had a 39 second spread

Wasn't able to qualify out of the loaded Olathe North regional (qualifying teams took 1st, 2nd, and 7th at 6A State); solid pack was too far back to qualify

Last at State doesn't look very good, and though they didn't have their best day, they did take a medal home (Anima - 14th)

Missed qualifying for the 6A meet by only one point to Wichita North

Also a "victim" to the deep Olathe North regional, where they had an impressive 17 second spread and 16:59 avg for the top 5

Put two in the top-30 at the 5A meet (Flores 9th) but not able to repeat their defeat of Seaman at regionals
