Times: 3:00p.m. - - Coaches' meeting in front of press box in west stadium
3:30p.m. - - Finals in all Field Events/3200m Run
4:30p.m. - - Finals in all Running Events
Participating Schools: Derby Middle, Haysville, Newton, McPherson, Derby North
Entry Fee: $100 to help offset the cost of the timer crew
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1 in all open running and field events.
10-8-6-4-2-1 in relays.
Entries: 4 entries per athlete
4 entries allowed in each open running event and 3 entries in field events
1 relay team per event
We are using MileSplit for online entries. I have attached a Get Started Letter for you. 1. Create an account for your team
2. Entries are open until Monday, 4/4/2022 at noon.
3. All scratches and changes will be made by the coaches. No additions or substitutions will be allowed after the coachs meeting.

Running Surface: Our track and the approaches for both the high jump and long jump are rubberized. Spikes in excess of 1/4 are not permitted. The shot and discus rings are concrete.
Please note: Spikes are not to be worn in the bleachers.
Equipment: 7th and 8th-grade girls will throw the 6lb shot put; 7th and 8th-grade boys will throw the 4 kg shot put. All divisions will throw the high school girls discus. Each school is responsible for supplying its own shots and discs.
Field Events: All competitors will be allowed three (3) attempts in the long jump, discus, and shot put. There will be no separate finals. Competitors will be allowed 3 misses at any height in the high jump.
Opening HJ heights: 7G - 38 7B - 42 8G - 310 8B - 46
Running Events: There will be no prelims in the running events. All races will be against time. False Starts: One false start to the field, the second false start will disqualify the runner
Hurdle Spacing: 100m low hurdles for both boys and girls. (13m to the first hurdle, 8.5m between, and 10.5m to the finish). We will use 30" hurdles. (33 for 8th boys).
Starting Blocks: Will be furnished.
Bus Parking: Buses need to enter from the Rock Road entrance and park in the west side parking lot.
Concessions: We will have concessions available
LOCKER FACILITIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE -- COME DRESSED.
