Meet Information
Coaches,
Please find below the information you will need for the invitational meet held here on Tuesday,
March 29th. I know this is the first meet of the year, but please be as accurate as possible when
filling out the times and distances. You will be allowed 4 entries per event and 1 relay team
per relay. To enter, go to Milessplit.com, find the Cimarron meet and go from there. I know
that a few teams have already registered. The meet will be electronically timed.
The field events will begin at 3:00 pm and there will be 4 throws/jumps in the field events with
no finals. Running events will begin after most of the field events are finished, around 5:00 pm.
There will be no prelims so all events will be run against time as a final event. The order of
events will be the same as recommended by the KSHSAA. I have included the order of events
and a copy of the meet records.
Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 for individual events and 10-8-6-4-2-1 for relays. Medals will be
given for the top 3 finishers in all events. A first-place plaque will also be given to the top team
in each of the boys and girls divisions.
Your entry forms are due by 12:00 pm on Monday March 28th . It is important that they are
in by this date so we can get the meet ready. Scratches for field events will be below the grade
school and in the press box for the running events.
