Kynli Bagby (Fort Riley Middle School, 2030):
At the NCKL Junior High League Championships, Bagby led all girls in the 100m and 200m, running 12.54 and 26.81, while also adding a 15-8 mark in the long jump.
Jamal Lawson (Fort Riley Middle School, 2030):
The top sprint triple among all middle school boys last week belonged to Lawson, who ran 11.46, 23.82, and 55.42 in the 100m, 200m, and 400m at the NCKL Junior High League Championships, winning all three events.
Aubrey Teter (Mulvane Middle School, 2030):
Teter was the top girl last week in the 1600m and 800m , running 5:16.08 and 2:28.40 at the Patriot League South Division Track Meet. She also added a 1:01.36 in the 400m.
Whitley Wilscam (Andover Middle School, 2030):
At the WSL DII Meet, Wilscam led all boys in both the shot put and discus, throwing 49-3 and 157-5, the top throws double posted by any middle schooler in Kansas last week.
Lex Hubin (West Franklin Middle School, 2030):
Hubin led all girls last week in the discus at 122-8 and added a 38-8 in the shot put at the Flinthills MS League Meet.
Javian Orosco (Holcomb Middle School, 2030):
At the MS GWAC Track and Field Championship, Orosco clocked 11.57, 23.54, and 54.45 in the 100m, 200m, and 400m, giving him arguably some of the best range of any sprinter this season.
Madison Goode (Scott City Middle School, 2030):
Goode cleared 12-6 in the pole vault at the MS GWAC Track and Field Championship, making her one of the best vaulters among all athletes both at the high school and middle school level. She currently sits in a tie for the fourth best jump in the state, behind three seniors and a junior.
Abel Clark (Hugoton Middle School, 2030):
The top javelin mark among all boys in Kansas last week belonged to Clark, whose 183-7 at the MS GWAC Track and Field Championship led the state field by more than 35 feet. He won the competition by nearly 60 feet, and would rank 27th in the state if he were in high school.
