WATCH LIVE ON MILESPLIT: RUNNINGLANE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS ON DEC. 4

RACE SIGN-UPS ARE ONGOING

- - -

As time ticks away, the high school cross country season is inching closer to a culminating race.

And at this point, few would doubt the RunningLane Cross Country Championships will be that event on December 4 in Huntsville, Alabama.

With no Team Nationals scheduled for 2021, RXC2 has become the de facto force in the high school space, and with two national championship-level races shaping up to be the best of the fall season, we could have our answer to the question, 'Who's the top high school program in 2021?'

Perhaps by both race's end, just as well, we could have a discussion about the best high school team ever.

Already, a wide variety of the nation's best teams, as ranked by the MileSplit50, have entered their names into the field.
