Sam had the unfortunate luck of not getting to become the first 4X state Javelin champion loosing his senior year to covid19. Sam's list of accomplishments are still long winning the javelin 3X and medaling twice at the NBNO. Sam had a pr of 224'6" and also threw the disc 142'. Sam will continue his throwing career at Texas A&M. Sam had the closest first round contest, but just barely, winning 53% of the vote.
