Woodson Closes Day 1 Competition With Comeback Win


W.T. Woodson closed out day one's competition at Boo Williams with a monster race. In the seeded section of the 4x800m relay they ran a 8:00.94 to win the 6A State Title.

Not only was this their first relay title in years but it was also a come from behind win. Ocean Lakes and Western Branch dictated the pace early but W.T. Woodson never gave up. They pushed and came back for the win. The team was comprised of four seniors; Jackson Leech, Aslan Abrishami-azar, Tyler French, and Joseph Dobrydney
