( Emily Downey, Haley Dietsch, Grace Geiger & Bailee Cofer) placed 7th at the New Balance National Outdoor Championships, in the 4x1600m. They finished 6 th in the fast heat,. but were bumped from 6th to 7th place by a NY team who ran in the second heat and won the race based on time. For these young ladies to go and compete there and represent Kansas it was a great experience and outstanding effort. They combined for 20:39.24 ,averaging 5:09.5 per runner.
