Kansas Runners

I've seen Alli Cash run before, but today was amazing. She had a good-sized lead when I saw her around the mile mark. Then, she flew by at the 12:50 mark with about 300 meters to go (finishing in 13:46.7). I waited, and waited, and waited until the second place girl came along and it was a full 1:50. Again, amazing performance. I sure hope she comes to KC Metro in late September. It would be fantastic to see her go after Samantha Nightingale's incredibly quick 17:15 meet record from 2011. Yael

I'm pretty sure SMW is scheduled to attend the KC Metro meet. I would be surprised if Alli didn't break Samantha's record but you never know about the weather etc... Based on what she accomplished over the summer I'm sure she has some lofty goals in mind.

This girl is truly special and I think whether you are a casual fan or an over the top fanatic you need to get out and watch her run. It's really amazing. Our course is not fast and she just scorched it. What a stud!
