This past weekend the high school runners took to the streets and stretched their legs. The Tulsa Route 66 Half/Marathon was one of the biggest in the midwest this past weekend and Olathe East runner Colton Wheatley who finished 27th at the state cross country meet stepped up to the plate competing against some very seasoned distance runners along with some professional runners in the race, and finished 16th overall and completed the half marathon in 1:23:04 to make him the top finisher from Kansas.
