"Cailie Logue is quite a runner, and she's a class-act person too. Just to qualify for states in all three distance races is difficult. To win them all is impressive, and to break three records that I think had been around for a long time is one of the most incredible feats I've seen."

ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE

The 5-foot-6 junior won three individual events at the Class 4A state meet this past season, setting meet records in all three. Also a two-time Gatorade Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, Logue won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.08, captured the 1600 in 4:54.44 and broke the tape in the 3200 in 10:31.60. She also won the Nike Festival of Miles, and her season-best time of 4:44.08 in the 1600 ranked as the nation's No. 6 performance among prep competitors in 2016 at the time of her selection.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

Logue has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.

EXEMPLARY CHARACTER

Also a talented musician and a devoted member of her church community, she has donated her time to Girard High's foreign language and service clubs as well as the school's peer leadership and tutoring initiatives.
