When the defending champion who won as a freshman returns with a sectonal mark of over 7 feet longer than the field it's pretty easy to say she is the favorite to repeat. Sophia Rivera is not only the Class 2 leader but currently ranks #2 overall in the state.  The Class record of 46-07.25 may be a reach but lets not forget Sophia is only a sophomore. Katie Skelton was runner up last year and returns with teammate Halee Cashio from Ash Grove.
